Welcome to the Den of the Black Wolf Ranger's
We are a Forum based (writing) Role Playing unit set in the Battletech universe. The year is 3085. In our RPG the characters, situations and battles that we write about generate game money that allows the unit to grow in size and upgrade its equipment through purchases. Salvage is awarded if a target amount is reached.
The Black Wolf Ranger's allows for a wide range of game play and role playing avenues. If you only like to write that is fine, if you want to Role play and use your wages to buy better personal gear and weapons to enhance your skills and better yourself, whether it be a high tech personal recreation vehicle or a precision sniper rifle we can fill that. BLACK WOLF RANGER'S War Pack (Brigade)
Having grown in record time to that of a Standard Brigade, the Black Wolf Ranger’s War Pack is an exceptional unit amongst its peers. Geared towards Recon and Cavalry missions, the main front line Dire Packs (Regiment) consist of the Storm Wolves Dire Pack and the Demon Wolves Dire Pack. Each Combat Unit is supported by a Combat support unit (CSU).
STORM WOLVES Dire Pack (Regiment)
This is the Dire Pack that contains the BWR’s heavier Cavalry units consisting of 3 combined arms Battle Packs (Battalion), The Thunder Wolves, Ice Wolves and the Lightning Wolves . Each Battle Pack consists of 1 Mech pack (Company), an Armoured Pack and a Battle Armour Pack. All of which is supported by a Combat VTOL wing of Yellow Jacket, Hawk Moth and Crow recon VTOLs. CSU- (Combat Support Unit) is where the Combat engineers, Artillery, Medical, Logistic and technicians reside to support front and rear echelon Support.
DEMON WOLVES Dire Pack (Regiment)
This is the Dire Pack that contains the BWR’s Light and Medium Recon units consisting of 4 combined arms Battle Packs (Battalion), The Ghost Wolves, the Werewolves, the Vampire Wolves and the Zombie Wolves. Each Battle Pack consists of 1 Mech Pack (Company), an Armoured Pack and a Battle Armour Pack. All of which is supported by a Combat VTOL wing of Nightshade, Cavalry and Crow recon VTOLs. Strike and fade tactics along with ambush tactics make for this highly mobile force too be a headache for slower moving units. Outfitted with the fastest jump capable light and medium Mech’s this Dire Pack also contains a stealth equipped company of Mech’s as well as the mimetic Trinity Battle armour. CSU- (Combat Support Unit) is where the Combat engineers, Artillery, Medical, Logistic and technicians reside to support front and rear echelon Support.
DARK WOLVES Battle Pack (Battalion)- Special Operations Group.
Four platoons of Battle Armour are the center piece of this special operations Battalion. Highly deployable with two squadrons of attack VTOL's and transports, the Ghosts are trained in deep recon and infiltration. This special force is capable of dealing considerable damage to the enemy before fading away to strike again.

Home Defence Unit of the BWR’s Primary Land hold. Geared towards operations on their home world, they excel in geographic defensive and offensive operations. Battle hardened veterans lead each Pack in home land security. Intense training is carried out continually to bring fresh recruits up to combat readiness with the specialized training cadre and unique survival training. Consisting of A full Regiment Each of Mechs, Armour and Infantry. ATtack VTOL Naval Squadron's and Aerowings add defence in depth.
